eSTS to Support Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA)

Washington, DC – eSTS was recently awarded a contract to provide Technical Support to the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) at Camp Pendleton, CA. Under this three year contract, eSTS will provide Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), System of Systems Technical Support (SoSTS) Services support including technical studies, enterprise architecture, test and evaluation and virtual rapid prototyping laboratory support.

eSTS Wins 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

Washington, DC – eSTS is pleased to announce the award of a General Services Administration (GSA) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II (8(a) STARS II) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) Contract. The 8(a) STARS II GWAC has a five-year base period with a single five-year option period, a $10B contract ceiling.

The 8(a) STARS II GWAC is designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT services-based solutions for the federal government. The 8(a) STARS II program is reserved exclusively for qualifying certified 8(a) small business concerns as the prime contractors per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.8.

The benefits of 8(a) STARS II to utilizing agencies include the following:

  • 8(a) socioeconomic credit transferrable to the agency
  • Pre-competed, easy to use contracts
  • Access to proven 8(a) small business technology providers
  • Shortened procurement lead time
  • Directed Order Authority: Directed task orders up to $4 million each are allowed for federal civilian and Department of Defense activities
  • A low user access fee (0.75 percent) built into contractor’s ceiling prices

eSTS to Support U.S. Army’s PEO EIS PIO/CIO and CTO

eSTS was awarded a contract to provide technical support services to the Portfolio Integration Officer (PIO)/Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) within Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). Under this contract eSTS will provide software architecture, information technology, software development, systems engineering and program management services to several programs and CIO and CTO initiatives.

eSTS to Support U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command Product Group 11 (PG-11)

eSTS was awarded a contract to provide Enterprise Architecture and engineering support for the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), Command and Control (C2) Weapons and Sensors Development and Integration (MC2I) Systems Integration Team (MSIT). Under this five year contract, eSTS will provide Marine Corps C2 subject matter expertise, engineering and enterprise architecture services to support the development, integration and implementation of a MC2I System of Systems (SoS).

Thomas McAvoy, Chief Operating Officer at eSTS, said, “Our Marine Corps experience with MAGTF C2 and our understanding of JCIDS and DoDAF artifact development will assist MSIT in successfully federating architectures.”

Under this contract, eSTS will work with PG-11 MSIT and Program Offices to create the MAGTF Family of Systems federated architecture that will be interoperable with the Marine Corps Enterprise Architecture.

eSTS Wins SE 2020 as a Team Member to CSSI

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded eSTS, Inc., together with prime contractor CSSI, Inc., a $280 million contract to perform engineering work of national importance to help transform and modernize the nation’s airspace system into the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen).

The $280 million contract is the first of up to six that will be awarded under an umbrella structure called System Engineering 2020 (SE-2020). SE-2020 has a ceiling of approximately $7 billion, making it the largest contract in the FAA’s history.

Through SE-2020, CSSI and eSTS are positioned to leverage their experience to provide a broad range of Systems Engineering, Investment and Business Case Analysis, Planning, Forecasting and Business/Financial/Information Management support services.
